Spirit photography

Guess what? Autumn is the time of year when most digital camera's will capture the spirit world. What's the trick to getting this to work? Well, you must not be against praying. Praying gives them the confidence to appear. It is the knocking at God's door and asking for permission to photograph his children in the mist. Be polite. Be respectful, and explain to all that you merely want to see their faces. Tell them you are honored by their presence and wish for them to remain as long as they are comfortable. Ask them politely not to remain if they are uncomfortable and wish to cause any trouble or harm. Then thank God for his permission, ( you are of course assuming he gave it and will find out if you find the spirits in your photos.) and then offer Him something in return. I usually offer Him some tobacco as per my native upbringing but you can also offer Him some flour, sugar, or whatever you have in the kitchen. Offer it to him on the four directions, and then begin taking your photos. When checking them afterwards, turn the image into a negative and use the magnifier on your program to scan the image. You'll soon begin to see interesting faces in the mist! Happy Halloween!
Crow counting while driving!

My mother and I have a little fun while driving. We count crows. No, not like the band! It's a rhyme and it goes like this:
One Crow for sorrow, two for joy, three for a letter, four for a boy, five for silver, six for gold, seven for a secret that will never be told.
Each morning when we take my father to his radiation treatments we count the crows along the way. Most mornings I will get two crows, for joy and shortly thereafter I will get one crow for sorrow. This is frustrating because when this happens, I usually feel pretty happy about things, then something occurs to cause me to burst into tears. Try it! One day I saw three and then my boyfriend wrote from far away. Happy Halloween!
love in war

Today I sent a message out to some if not all of my buddies, that I was going to delete my site. I thought better of it after discussing my problems with someone else. You see, I wanted to leave this place because it reminds me of someone I love who is in a war not his own. No, he isn't an American soldier, nor is he in Iraq. He is someone I love who lives and works in another middle eastern country, but he doesn't come from there. He's just stuck there for the time being, not forever I hope. See, when you fall in love with anyone on the interenet, it's always a gamble. You don't know if they are truly who they say they are, or even if they are good and decent. I got lucky. Or maybe, it was a God given event that only occurs once in a lifetime. I'm no expert on God, but he has my vote on this one. You see, my true love told me everything and lo and behold he could back it all up! Proof! From the beginning! You would think that would be enough for me, wouldn't you? Nope, sorry. You see, I am a divorced woman. My last husband was very, very, horrible to me. I didn't and don't want to relive that man EVER again! But no matter how many times I lose my courage and my faith, this man comes back with more proof. He loves me. So, if you, like me, have been continuously told that there is no such thing as love and that all men are evil, vile, hairy little trolls from hell, try to knock a few of those bricks out of the wall that surrounds you and allow love to peek in. You may find you've no reason to be sorry. Don't get me wrong, it will NOT be easy! It is a struggle to believe that someone can be the opposite of your living nightmare, but the good guys are out there. Just be careful while your looking for them. And... If they happen to be in a War that is or isn't their own, don't spend too much time thinking about what you don't have, but what they have to endure while they are there. And Pray, Pray, Pray!!
